The Bride of the Lord: Chaste for the Lord

The Bride is before spectators, an audience and congregation.
The attention of the Bride is focused.
The Bridesmaid takes care of the Bride at this hour.
The Bride cannot adorn herself,
The Bride cannot take care of things herself.
Holy Spirit, help us that we will be true Bridesmaids.
We will lift up her hands.
We will pick up the things she cannot pick herself.
We will get the things she cannot get.
We will not fail you, Lord.
We will humble ourselves under Your mighty hand.
We ask for the grace to do what you want us to do.
The Bridesmaids appear on the even of the marriage;
For soon there will be a marriage.
Help us to prepare the Bride.
Help us remind the Bride to put herself together.
Help us to remind the Bride to be ready.
Thank you for this honour and privilege.
Help us to do our best to make the Bride ready.
Jesus, you are Lord and we bless You.
Never again shall we limit or frustrate You.
Be at liberty to do what You want to do.
