Description

The proposed Structure allows for three types of reporting lines: Direct Line Reporting
Relationship, Advisory Reporting Relationship and Collegial Reporting Relationship.
Direct Line Reporting Relationship
There exists a direct reporting relationship between a Supervising Authority (Say, International
Head Coordinator or CEO or Department Head, etc) and the subordinate level (Say,
Coordinators in charge of Department or Arms, International Office Administrator, Unit Heads,
etc). Information flows upward and downward along the defined chain of command.
Information outside the chain of command (Say, another Department) must flow through the
Supervising Authority to avoid conflict and unnecessary overlaps.
